The business was established as a partnership in 1978. As the business grew, it was decided to incorporated in 1984. In 1987, the current management acquired the share holding. Since that time, the business has become one of the largest specialists in the manufacture of self adhesive labels in Tasmania capable of producing from 1 to 6 colours with one pass through the press.

We believe that the success of our business has been achieved through our ability to produce a high quality product ON TIME, which has met the requirements of thousands of customers since we commenced business. We also think that our friendly and personable service, where nothing is too much trouble, has been appreciated by our customers.

Our mix of equipment, allows us to economically produce small quantities of 1, 2, or 3 colour labels on our letterpress machines as well as small runs of full colour labels and stickers on our Digital Label Printer and Die Cutter. When it comes to large commercial quantities printed in up to 6 colours we would print them on our full colour flexographic printing machines.

Part of our continuing success has been derived from that fact that we are able to meet the labelling requirements of almost every type of industry in Tasmania. Labelpress is able to manufacture fully printed and ready for the production line labels as well as unprinted blanks or partly printed labels for use with a customers own thermal transfer printer or weighing machine.
